For years I’ve researched people’s last words. We have this idea that a person’s last words are full of meaning and wisdom, but the truth is that’s only rarely true. Some famous last words are meaningful. But most are not. Most are simply last thoughts without very much meaning. Frank Sinatra died after saying, “I’m losing it.” Most people’s last words are like that.
The same cannot be said of Jesus last words. Although they are few they are full of meaning and powerful to bring about change. Take a few moments to get some perspective on life from the last words out of Jesus mouth.
